On 4/1/25, Team XLR8 welcomed the alumni of Jadavpur University to demonstrate our Go-Kart and E-Kart at the 2025 Alumni Meet. It was more of a senior-junior interaction where we got to know about the industrial and technological aspects of the automobile industry. With a resolution of cooperation, we promised to conquer new challenges that would not only help our club but also pave the way for there future motorsports enthusiasts of JU to explore their passion and aim higher than we can currently think of.

Update on E-kart Manufacturing
Design report of our first electric vehicle EV-K1.0 has been completed.
Manufacturing of the vehicles and procurement of different parts are on in full swing.
We plan to complete manufacturing by March of 2024, and it will participate in IKR Season 9.
Update on the IKR results
Team XLR8 has secured 1st position in innovation, 4th position in cost, 6th position in rulebook and an overall 8th position in IKR under the EV category.
